These corn stalks are eight to nine feet tall.

I am glad he missed a few, because I took several interesting shots here.

The church in the background is featured several times in my gallery already - most notably the "Heaven's Light" photo.

St. Paul Lutheran Church

This photo is for for her corn-country encouragement... and for the journal feature showcasing several of my deviations! Thank You.

Really pretty =D The corn stalk looks like it is all alone on a battlefield! The sky doesn't look too good, I think you are going to get some rain.
Hey I like that one, are you sure you didn't take it in IL??

Almost... know what the shame is... this was one of those "on the way to work" photos... and I was running late, but the sky was good... I got back to the car and started to drive, and the sun came out, full force... I should have gone back and re-taken the shot with the better light, but ......... I didn't....

Thanks! I'll bet we do get some...

The sky was pretty neat this morning, and I saw those the other day... I was trying to take pictures the other direction towards the sun, but the sky was either bleached or the corn too dark. When I turned around - boom - there was the church... Much better shot. :-)
